Doctorate at University of Zurich, Institute for Popular Culture Studies, section for Popular Literature and Media on the tale of Bluebeard, supervised by Prof. Dr. Alfred Messerli. Research stays (supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation) at the University College London (UCL) and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Five French and German adaptions of «Bluebeard» in different media from the 1940 are compared, all of them referring to the contemporary political situation.
